Lakeside Women’s Club

The Lakeside Women’s Club is a group of local women dedicated to community service.  The club has 2 primary fund-raisers each year, a Victorian (or Harvest) Tea, and a Christmas Wreath Sale.  These activities support scholarships for local high school students going on to college.  In addition to the scholarships, the club provides support (financial and volunteers) to the local Library, Community Garden, Beautification Committee, Fire Department, the Chamber of Commerce, the Annual Crawdad  Festival, etc.  

The Club has a business meeting at  noon on the 3rd Monday of each month at Osprey Point (join them at 11:00 for lunch at the Osprey Point Pub).  Their Activities Chair organizes a fun outing on a monthly basis as well.  Activities have included pottery painting, cooking classes, bowling, bunco, museum visits and lunches.
